Day 5 of Spring Break, I went to LA Garment District with Caitlin and Megan Lee. The shops were overwhelming, but in a good way. Beads, fabric, trim, ribbons, feathers, it was nuts. I think I found a new favorite place. If you like DIY-ing, you would love it. I just wish I had more money. I would buy everything. There is so much culture there, lots and lots of weirdos. I got a pretty new phone cover for my BB Storm, for $6! That was because Megan was a little bargainer. Verizon Store, covers aren't cheap, like $20 bucks. I was pumped. It's purple. I also bought a fat roll of elastic about 144 yards for $9, that's a lot of headbands. GET EXCITED. I also bought these crazy colorful scarves, they kinda look Mexican, but I think they're rad. Then we had a delicious lunch at Portillo's on the way home. I was a happy camper.

"Order number 177, you're in heaven number 177", "Order 173, come see me, order 173". (haha sayings to come get your food at Portillo's. ) P.S best Italian beef dip, I've ever had. I wish they had more around where I live. The closest one is in Buena Park.

A Day at Universal Studios

Today started off SHITTY. My car wouldn't start! Erin's Law, I'm telling you! God rained on my parade...but I busted out the slip-n-slide. $114 later... me and the bf went to Uni. Studios. We had a lot of fun. I got to finally go on the Mummy ride, so cool, it goes backwards. I also loved the new Simpson's Ride, it made Al's tummy hurt, but I liked it. For lunch we had Hollywood Cafe. I had clam chowder in a bread bowl and Al had a bacon cheeseburger. The longest line we waited in was the Studio Tour, about an hour and fifteen! But I think it was worth it. Saw the set of Desperate House Wives, very exciting. I ended the day with a cup of Banana Split Dippin' Dots, ahhhmazing. Woo spring break, day #2!

DIY Rope Necklace

My best friend, Alyssa and I wanted to make rope necklaces, so we headed down to Joann's. I basically live there now. But they turned out really cute. We got the idea from www.lovemaegan.com.

Nicholas Sparks you are the ultimate romantic. I love you. To all of you Miley Cyrus haters, I thought she played her role perfectly. I balled my eyes out and got snot all over my jacket, that is how hard I cried. I think what got me the most was Jonah, he was such a sweetheart to everyone. Liam Hemsworth is the epitome of eye candy. Wow, he is sexy. I recommend any girl to see it. Love her song too, if you couldn't tell, ha. I think this movie really made me thankful for my family (esp. with our situation right now). Now all I need is a Liam.

DIY Ruffle Bikini Top

First, you need a bikini bottom, one that you don't mind cutting up.
Secondly, cut liner out of bikini bottom.
Thirdly, you need to cut liner into about 1 in. strips
Layer strips one on top of another (you really only need four strips of liner).
Stitch in and out of liners and pull together at the end to get a ruffle-ly effect.
You need a bikini top, I got mine at Victoria's Secret.
Apply ruffles to the inside edges of the bikini top.
Voila, it's that simple!
